With Cinco de Mayo approaching, we’re celebrating at EWR/C with a few Cinco Specials. Our Culinary team have developed a limited feature Torta Burger and Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita for travelers looking to participate in the festivities #preFLIGHT.

An ode to the authentic, traditional Mexican sandwich with the all-American burger, our Torta Burger features a special blend Pat La Frieda patty grilled to perfection, and topped with queso fresco, fresh guacamole, crisp iceberg lettuce, pickled red onions, crema and house-made roasted chile mayo.

And because Cinco de Mayo is nothing without a fresh margarita, our Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita proves a perfect complement to the Torta Burger. Giving a twist to the quintessential Mexican cocktail, the Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita is topped to the rim with blended strawberries and jalapeños, agave nectar, lime and tequila.
