Over 600 Crewmembers, business partners, family and friends from our 350+ airport locations came together for the Annual OTG Conference. Our Crewmembers gathered at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas for two days of team building. The conference included discussions of upcoming innovations and exciting new ventures in the years ahead. Concept openings, technology and new OTG mentorship programs are just a few of the reasons OTG has a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year.

GENERAL SESSION

Day one kicked off with opening remarks from our CEO Rick Blatstein, ushering presentations from our outstanding OTG leadership. Yearly overviews were followed by panels featuring industry insights from the OTG Crew on the ground at our airport locations. 

After the presentations, collaborative breakout sessions were held, in which Crewmembers had the opportunity to interact and actively participate in open discussions with leadership.

Day two kicked off with more keynote presentations from leadership featuring a guest speaker along with additional insightful panel discussions. Additionally, our Flo® tech team introduced the latest upgrades to our award-winning iPad platform. The General Session concluded with closing remarks by Rick Blatstein, who highlighted the goals of the organization for the upcoming year.

OTG EXPO 

After the closure of the General Session, OTG hosted an Expo exhibit that allowed current and potential OTG business partners to meet the OTG Crew as they showed off their products and services offered in our airport locations. The Expo was also the stage for the annual OTG chef showdown, known as the “Iron Chef Competition”, which had Crewmembers cheering for their respective airport teams.

OTG AWARDS 

As the evening approached, attendees gathered at the Venetian Hotel Ballroom for the OTG Awards & Gala to celebrate! Crewmembers at IAH were awarded with the Team of the Year Award. The teamwork and dedication displayed by the IAH team in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, and its devastating toll on the city of Houston, was nothing short of remarkable and made them more than deserving of this award. Their determination to serve their city in such hard circumstances is exemplary of the perseverance and endurance exemplified by all OTG Crewmembers. The 2018 Gala event was a fitting close to a conference that promises innovation and growth at OTG. We’re looking forward to what next year will bring!
