OTG continues to raise the standards of airport hospitality.
Since introducing our fully-connected terminal at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the airport has been upgraded to a 4-star rating by international air travel rating organization Skytrax. The organization attributed the upgrade to the food and beverage offerings that “have further improved as part of the United Airlines cooperation with OTG in the new Terminal C-North concourse.” The rankings come after working with United Airlines on the development and transformation of “The United Experience at Terminals C-North, C-South and E.”
The annual study conducted by the organization reflects on 14 million survey responses collected between July 2017 and February 2018.
IAH also received accolades for being one of the most improved and best dining airports in the world, placing no. 3 and no. 9 respectively in the Skytrax ratings.
Per our CEO Rick Blatstein, “The incredible response from Houston travelers over the past few months and the recent announcement that Skytrax has awarded IAH a four-star rating is all thanks to our dedicated Crewmembers who make the OTG experience possible. We’re incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished to date and remain fully committed to making IAH the airport of the future.”
IAH is currently ranked the 54th best airport overall, up from 71st last year.
The updated OTG offerings at IAH are a testament to our combined effort to revitalize the passenger-terminal relationship. Whether it’s Q, our true Texas BBQ concept with an on-site smoker, or Ember, our take on the traditional Texas steakhouse, we meet travelers at the intersection of superior dining, design and tech.
Stay tuned for more of our award-winning collaborations!
