A Look at Our Most Social-Media-Friendly Design Elements
Design is a key pillar in the OTG ethos. After noticing select design elements popping up on our social feed, we decided to look at our most engaging spaces and which elements passengers are sharing in their pre-flight posts!
Caps Beer Garden | Mirrored Honeycomb Wall

A refined honeycomb mirror design lines the side of Caps Beer Garden at our United Experience at EWR’s Terminal C. This wall drew so much social engagement naturally just from its location, design and striking presence that travelers flocked to it for a background setting unique to the aesthetic of their personal brand.
Deep Blue | Circular Light Fixture

Distinctly illuminated by a blue hue unique to our JetBlue Experience at JFK’s Terminal 5, this concept has drawn the attention of many. Creating a relaxing scene much different than standard airport lighting, the ambiance from the luminous overhead sculpture soothes any traveler on the go.
Minnibar | Mosaic Rotunda

Our third feature lies within Minnibar at our Delta MSP Experience. It’s overarching cap centers the space and creates a buzz of energy that emanates throughout the terminal. Its mesmerizing mosaic design consisting of thousands of tiles make for its popularity as a background to any picture.
Page | Overarching Lighting Pedals

At DCA Terminal A’s Page, breathtaking arched light fixtures flowering from a central hub overlook passengers in the rotunda space. Currently our most popular engaged with design feature, its unique presence in the terminal inspires many travelers to stop and take photos. By continuously igniting a creative light, which slowly transforms as the day progresses, Page is a strong close to our engaging spaces selects.
United Terminal C-North | IAH Airport
After noticing these trends across our experiences, we decided to start integrating social media moments into the physical design of our restaurants. With the build out of our new United Experience at IAH’s Terminal C North, we will be weaving specific moments inspiring organic engagement with guests passing through. Renderings of some of the new spaces, below.
